Ellie and the babies caught a cold last week; they'd managed to get through the whole winter without getting sick. Thankfully it was pretty short-lived; Ellie was better after about a day but the babies took a couple days to recover. Zoe's teething again too, so she was particlulary miserable; she was so congested she couldn't breathe out of her nose, which made it hard for her to suck on her pacifier. She spent one night sleeping in her carseat so she was at least upright. We had a couple hairy nights with Zoe and Maddie not sleeping well, but at least that's over. Zoe's tooth is still working its way in, poor thing.
Last weekend was a party weekend for us - Ellie and I went to our friend Izzy's 2nd birthday party on Saturday afternoon and we had so much fun; Ellie was so sad when it was time to go home! Then we all trekked up to Coon Rapids for Kaden's 8th birthday party on Sunday-what a beautiful afternoon! We had a great time, thanks Uncle KC and Auntie Lisa! Ellie even got up the nerve by the end of the day to drive their golf cart. I really hope her driving improves in the next 13 years. Pretty scary.
And, Ellie finally got a big-girl bed! She's had a toddler bed for the last year but it was time to get a regular twin bed. Plus, Grandma had one she was ready to part with, so we all win!
