Happy Mother's Day!

We had a really nice, but busy, weekend. Dave and I have been working at fixing up our basement into a playroom for the kids over the last couple weeks, but it's almost done! We've removed the old paneling, replaced drywall (OK, we hired someone to do that for us), painted, and laid carpet. Ellie even helped me paint yesterday. We still have to paint the trim and basement cabinets and shelving, and then put back the toys and furniture, but I'm so happy with all we accomplished this weekend. We also made a family excursion to the local garden center for some geraniums and hanging flower pots, so we finally have some color in the front of the house.
This morning we had a really nice breakfast with my mom and even got out for a short walk this afternoon.

Last week Zoe had her occupational therapy evaluation, and I guess the good news is that she's doing pretty well for her gestational age, so no OT is needed at this time. She'll go for another eval in 3 months. She's still doing PT weekly though she hasn't been too happy about that, so I'm not sure how much we're accomplishing there. She had another cranio cap adjustment this last week and she'll likely only wear the helmet another 2-3 weeks, and then only at night after that. We're hoping to catch one more growth spurt in the helmet, but her head's looking great!
