What a beautiful weekend! These are the days that we so appreciate after surviving another winter in MN. We spent Saturday and Saturday night with my dad at his cabin in WI - it was the babies' first night away from home! It was pretty crowded as the cabin is only 2 bedrooms, and my sister was there too, but we managed OK. Maddie had a rough night but otherwise they did really well. I think it was good that we came home on Sunday so they had today to recover a bit before getting back into our normal routine. Here's my sister Lisa with the kids:

Zoe's finally free from her cranio-cap! For the most part, anyway. She still has to wear it while she's sleeping - naps and at night, so that she doesn't re-flatten the back of her head since she's still not rolling over well. But nice to be almost free of it after 14 weeks! We go back to the orthotist in 3 weeks for one last check, and she may be able to be done with it for good after that.
We saw Zoe's neurosurgeon last week again; that appt had been delayed by about a month after her most recent MRI. The good news is that the fluid level in her brain hasn't changed since the previous MRI, so still no need for a shunt at this time. We'll continue to monitor that via the neurologist, and he said we should know by about age 3 if a shunt will be necessary or not.

The babies made their first trip to the MN Zoo last week- we went for just a couple hours after their morning nap last week and they really seemed to enjoy it. We bought a family membership so now we can go whenever we want, and since it's so close, we can go just for a short time if it works out with their schedules. It was so nice to get outside!

And, we had such a nice visit today from Dave's college friend Judy and her 2 adorable kids - her son is only 2 weeks younger than the triplets, so it was fun to compare notes!
