Zoe finally started rolling over this week during her physical therapy appt! She can now roll from her back to her tummy and vice versa. She is doing just great, I've even noticed her rolling around in her crib while she's sleeping; she's often sleeping on her side or even her tummy, which means she should be able to discontinue wearing her cranio-cap while sleeping after this week's appointment! She's just getting so much more animated, we're so excited about her progress lately!
Ellie finished her tumb
ling class; I don't think we'll be repeating that one. She might be a little young for it yet - she gets pretty worked up at class and doesn't listen very well to the instructor. But she had a good time and learned a few things in the process. We enrolled her in swimming lessons again, and those start up next week.
Maddie is starting to cruise around pretty quickly, but still doing mostly a 3-point crawl, dragging her left leg/knee. It's a little funny looking but works for her!
Aidan is getting more adventurous, he climbed up on the fireplace hearth today and scared Dave. I found him at the top of Ellie's little stepstool the other day, just looking out the window.
Finally, today was a sad day for us: we made the decision to give up our dog, Wiggles, to my sister as we just don't have the time anymore to give her the attention she needs. At least we can still see her anytime we want, and we know she's going to a good home. But it's still a big change to have no pets after 8 years with at least one dog here. Ellie actually took it pretty well, thankfully.
