Cute kid stuff

This is one of the last pictures taken when it was still warm enough for short sleeves! (PS -check out Maddie with the stethoscope, I just know she's going to be a doctor!) We're already feeling a little cooped in the house with the cold temps and all the rain, and fall just started last week! It's going to be a loooooong winter, I'm sure.
I realized today the kids are like Pavlov's dogs; we were all playing in the family room, waiting for our lunch to finish cooking in the microwave in the kitchen. As soon as the microwave started to beep when it was done, Aidan and Maddie looked at me with big smiles on their faces and then Aidan took off like a shot toward the kitchen. Too funny!
Aidan was such a sweetheart this morning too: he found Zoe's pacifier sitting on the end table in the family room and he picked it up, walked across the room to her and put it in her mouth!
We had some friends over last Sunday to watch the Vikes beat the 49ers - what a great game, and our kids all had such a great time playing with other kids for a change. Thanks for coming, everyone!
The babies were all weighed yesterday. Aidan is at 26 lbs, 2 oz., Maddie's at 19 lbs, and Zoe's at 14 lbs, 1 oz. All are growing nicely! They have their 15 month checkup and shots, including flu shots- yikes! - in a couple weeks. That won't be a fun visit. Anyone want to come along to help console a screaming child or three??
Ellie is still LOVING preschool and is so excited to go on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. And she's in week 3 of swimming lessons, so she's keeping somewhat busy during the week.
The babies are starting to learn body parts- Aidan and Maddie will put their hands to their heads if you ask them where their heads are. Zoe seems to understand but doesn't always get her hands all the way up to her head. It's still cute, anyway!
