As you can see, we all finally made it outside to play today. With the temps in the low 20's and no wind, it really was a perfect day to play in the snow! It was the first time we've gotten the kids outside in the snow this winter and it was quite a production to get everyone dressed in their snowpants, boots, hats, mittens, etc. Aidan had a hard time initially walking around in his boots and was getting pretty upset that he kept falling over. Maddie just wasn't too sure what to do with the snow and kept taking her mittens off, but then didn't like the cold snow on her hands. Zoe was her usual mellow self and just took it all in stride. And Ellie jumped right into the snow to make snow angels! Once we got them sledding down the driveway they ended up having a good time and I'm sure the fresh air felt great.
We celebrated Christmas with the Karnowskis last night and had such a good time! The kids all had a blast playing with their cousins; I really hope we can get them all together more often in 2010. Other than some initial trepidation on Zoe's part, they were all very social and well-behaved - quite a welcome change from last year!
