Checkups

We had everyone in to the dr. last Monday for their latest checkups: Ellie's 4 year, and the triplets' 18 months. Here are their stats:

Ellie: 39" tall (34th percentile), 38 lbs (74th percentile). Doing great!

Aidan: 33.5" tall (91st percentile), 25 lbs, 15 oz. (59th percentile). Also doing great! He can now say the following words: Hi, Mommy, Daddy, go, bye, "bye, Daddy", and door. I think that's all of them.

Maddie: 30-3/4" tall (37th percentile), 19 lbs, 13.5 oz. (4th percentile). She's improved on the weight side since last time, so we're not so concerned there, but since she does not have a vocab yet of at least 4 words, we've been told if she doesn't start speaking a lot more in the next month, we'll have to take her for a speech evaluation. Otherwise, she's perfectly healthy. The hole in her heart is still present, as expected and will be re-evaluated by the cardiologist when she's 3 unless she develops symptoms earlier.

Zoe: 27" long and 14 lbs, 2.5 oz. Still not on any charts. Her weight has stayed about the same since she was last weighed in November, so she was tested for a myriad of things such as celiac disease, thyroid issues, etc., all of which came back negative, thankfully. Our next step is to visit a nutritionist to see if they can help us to fatten her up. She's no longer a great eater so we'll have to figure out a way to get more calories into her. She's still not walking independently, nor is she saying really anything other than "Mommy" so we will be starting up PT again this week as well as having her evaluated for speech. She also had another eye exam last week and they figure she has 20/40 vision or better, but due to her size, prematurity, and somewhat droopy left eyelid, they'll see her again in 6 months.

Not much else going on; Dave and I actually got to watch a movie Saturday night for the first time in a long time, and then had a "date morning" on Sunday as my mom and sister came and watched the kids for a while. We went to the Science Museum and caught the last day of the Titanic exhibit and Omnitheater show of "Titanica", then had a nice lunch at Cossetta's. Love that place! It's too bad our nice day had such a sad end with the Vikings loss.

I didn't get the camera out much this week but I did catch Aidan crashed on the couch with Dave on Saturday, which was a first:
