It's hard to believe, but Ellie turned 4 last Friday! We can no longer say we have one 3-yr old and three 1-yr olds. Dave took Friday off of work and we all went to Underwater Adventures at the MOA, then had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and did a little shopping. Even Aidan, Maddie, and Zoe had a good time and were very well behaved.Tonight we had Ellie's birthday party at a pizza buffet with the whole family, and she such had a blast! When blowing out her candles, she wished for "help" for her family - I'm not sure what kind of help she meant, mental help, maybe?? She was still pretty excited when we got home, and I had to lock her new toys in the car just to get her to go to bed.
Here are 4 facts about Ellie at age 4:
1. Her favorite song is "Life is a Highway" - the Rascal Flatts version from the movie "Cars". Runner up is "Feliz Navidad", which she pronounces as Please Mommy Dot.
2. She tells us often that "little girls don't eat much", especially if we're having something for dinner she doesn't like, but if offered anything sweet, that theory goes out the window.
3. Favorite food: PB&J sandwiches and hot chocolate.
4. She loves to play dress up. It's not uncommon for her to change clothes 3 times in one day and she already has quite a collection of play dresses, skirts, and other outfits. She does like to run around the house in just her underwear too, even now, in the dead of winter!
