When it rains...

Everyone in the house is finally over their ear infections but we found out the hard way that Zoe and Maddie are allergic to penicillin - they both broke out in hives from head to toe and ended up on a course of prednisone to clear them up. Poor girls, they were miserable! Knock on wood, though, we're all finally feeling well. This week, anyway!
Dave and Ellie went to a Daddy/Daughter dance at the AVCC on Feb 13th. They were so cute, Dave wore his suit, and Ellie wore a red and black dress with red tights and her black dress shoes. At the dance, she was given fairy wings and they had some snacks, did a few crafts and of course, they danced a few dances! They had a great time and were heading home when they were rear-ended just two blocks from home, totalling our Saturn. Thankfully, no one was hurt though Dave is still a little sore a week later. So, we'll need find a new (or more likely, used!) vehicle sometime soon. We just can't decide on whether to go with something small and economical or another vehicle that will fit all 6 of us. Any suggestions out there?
Aidan is starting to talk more and more: he said "potty" the other day, so I'm thinking it may be time to get out the potty chairs and at least let them get used to having them around. It can't hurt, right?! Don't worry, I have no illusions that they'll be potty trained anytime soon. I'm shooting for having them out of diapers by their 3rd birthday. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Zoe is just starting to attempt to talk too; besides "Mama", she now says "ball". And all three kids are trying to say "Ellie". We're working on it!
Here's a new photo of Aidan: love his blue eyes!
