It was 61 degrees today, baby! We spent most of the day outside today and loved every minute of it!
We even let the kids skip naps today, but all that fresh air and exercise caught up with Maddie and Aidan while we were getting dinner ready:
We've been outside almost every afternoon this week as well. I think we're going to go a little stir-crazy once winter hits and we're stuck inside, so we're taking advantage of the sunshine and warmer weather while we can! Ellie had a fun week at school with a visit from the local fire dept; she even got to demonstrate "Stop, Drop & Roll" for the class. For some reason I wasn't surprised to find out she was already on a first-name basis with the firefighters when I arrived to pick her up from school on Friday.
Thursday Ellie started yet another "Pike" swimming class at the Y. This is her latest attempt to pass this particular level, and per her instructor, hopefully her last. She really enjoys it and the littles have gotten used to the kid care center there, and no longer scream bloody murder when I drop them off to take Ellie to her lesson. Progress is good!
Zoe has another MRI this week to check on both the hydrocephalus and delayed mylenation issues. Please keep your fingers crossed for us that all goes well!
