Halloween 2011

Short blog w/ lots of photos tonight as I have a little boy who can't sleep. I suspect too much candy may be the culprit. We started celebrating Halloween on Saturday by attending the Anoka Halloween Parade - for those of you not from here, Anoka is the self-proclaimed (though deserving) Halloween Capital of the World! You can't tell from the pics, but we're sitting smack dab in the middle of the Main St./5th Ave intersection. Not advisable at any other time of the year, trust me.

Wave to the camera! But apparently look at the cart selling balloons.

Speaking of balloons, I thought this was pretty cool!

Maddie comfy on Tina's lap

A little smooch for Mom

Scampering for candy

This pic's for you, KK! Though if anyone wants to come to Foley Fun Days, it's the 3rd week in June from Mon-Wed in, where else, but Foley, MN!

Ok, this one too. :)
Today Ellie's elementary school celebrated Halloween w/ a party and parade around the school, so the kids and I headed over there to check it out and say "Hi!" to our favorite bumblebee!
And, of course, the requisite photo session before trick-or-treating could commence. Some were more accommodating than others:
Piggy aka Zoe

Mr. "I want to be myself" Aidan

Doggie - because Maddie loves anything to do with dogs

Group photo, ready to go!

Can we go NOW?

Getting really excited!

OK, seriously Mom, stop taking photos of us

Ok, just one more!

Yea for Foley Fun Days! Thanks for including this great town & event on the blog! (although, maybe we should tell visitors that if they'd like to come to Foley Fun Days it's the 3rd week in June from Mon-Wed)
