You know spring has officially arrived in MN when the bikes reappear on the driveway and little boys begin sprouting from trees....
We had a fun day today, though I'm getting a little desperate for spring break to end and for the kids to return to school and our normal routine. Dave took the afternoon off, and we met my mom and sister at Benihana's for lunch. It was the kids' first trip there and they were in awe at all the tricks our chef did in preparing the food - they were just mesmerized. From there we stopped at Macy's Spring Flower Show in downtown Mpls - just gorgeous and a nice reminder that spring has truly arrived. Once we got home, I took Winnie for a quick walk while the kids had some hot cocoa before heading outside to play in the sunshine and near 50 degree weather. After a nice bubble bath and a quick dinner we had a family movie night and watched "Rise of the Guardians." The kids got to stay up a little late but went to bed without too much of a fuss. I'm headed there myself. 'Night!
