Aidan, Maddie and Zoe's preschool classroom had a surprise guest this morning - Winnie! The theme of the week was "Pet Shop" and Maddie was over the moon when she found a corner of the room had been turned into a pet shop/vet clinic. At their drop off this morning I received their May calendar which included a note that kids could bring a pet this week for a class visit. I darted back into the classroom and quietly asked their teacher if they wanted a visit at the end of class today, and so arrangements were made for me to bring Winnie in. Winnie and I arrived when the kids were out of the room playing in their "muscle room" aka their gym, but it wasn't long before the kids came back and found us waiting for them. Aidan, Maddie and Zoe got to tell their classmates all about Winnie, who promptly rolled over and allowed all the kids to rub her belly. She seemed to love all the attention and was very calm and patient with each of the kids. What a fun morning!
