Five times three

It's good to be 5! We had three beautiful days to celebrate Aidan, Maddie, and Zoe's fifth birthday in July-  first with the whole extended family (we celebrated Ellie's half birthday, too), then with their preschool friends for their first "friend" party, then with just us at Como Town. The day of the family party was unusually cool, so we left the water slide for the kid party, but I think they all had fun anyway! They love being the center of attention - can't imagine where they got that from!

And now, photos from the kid party:

My effort at a game for the kids to play didn't go over all too well

Our kids' favorite friend and neighbor, Nolan with his mom, Renee!

A little after-party cooling off in the pool

And now, photos from Como Town - one of the hottest days of the summer. We had purchased all-day wristband passes for all the rides, which also included face painting. What I didn't get a picture of was probably the most memorable: Como Town's new "attraction" is called Water Wars - a water balloon sling shot launcher complete with a water cannon set to go off every minute or so. Dave and I each took two of the kids and then got on opposite sides of the water cannon and commenced getting completely drenched. Very fun, but not camera friendly!

Aidan had NO interest in getting his face, hand, or any other body part painted
