Last Hurrah at the Cabin- Labor Day weekend

As I'm writing this, it's late on New Year's Eve, 2013. I'm hoping to get caught up with blogging 2013 before too much of 2014 passes by. It's currently -8 degrees outside so I'm particularly enjoying revisiting photos from our last big hurrah at the cabin over Labor Day weekend. It was actually the first time we'd used the pontoon to go swimming in the middle of the lake, and since Dad sold the cabin in November, it was unfortunately our last opportunity to do so. The water felt wonderful, and Ellie, Aidan and Maddie were particularly brave in floating around with noodles. Our paddle boat also got dusted off and put to use for the afternoon, which the kids thought was lots of fun!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Ellie was the proud winner of the First [and last] Annual Labor Day Fishing Contest at the cabin with this prize northern:

As much as Winnie loves the cabin, she was ready to go home!
