My sister Lisa joined us for dinner Monday night. During dinner she and I were reminiscing about favorite stuffed animals from when we were kids. Lisa had a stuffed bunny she'd named "Thumper", and she told us sadly how our dad had thrown Thumper in the garbage.
Aidan was quick to retort- in all seriousnes: "He's probably burned to death by now."

It's been a while since we've had a "Say What Wednesday". Here are a few recent ones I missed posting here:
Aidan one morning: "Can I have some water so I don't get dehy..., dehydra... Can I get some water? I'm thirsty."
"If you want to go to the moon, you should go at night. So you can see where you're going." -Aidan
Overheard between Ellie and Aidan:
Ellie: "Aidan, do you know how to ask where the bathroom is in Texas?"
Aidan: "I don't know, how?"
Ellie: "Y'all know where the bathroom is?"
Said Maddie to Aidan in the car on the way to preschool one day as they were squabbling over something: "I have lipstick and I know how to use it!"
