Say What Wednesday

It's been quite a while since we had our last "Say What Wednesday," so hopefully this will make up for it somewhat:

Today for lunch, I rolled up some cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese along with some spices in some crescent roll dough, baked it in the oven and told the kids it was called, "Chicken Surprise." Aidan loved it; he couldn't get enough. Finally he blurted out, "You have GOT to give me this recipe!"

Yesterday afternoon we were playing outside and the kids were using bungee cords to tie together their bikes, scooters, and sleds (yes, we were using both the sleds and the wheeled toys. Welcome to spring in MN). Aidan was in charge and wasn't too happy when Maddie started making suggestions about where to place the bungees. He put her in her place by admonishing her, "I'M the smartypants!"

And last, but not least, the girls were playing with their dolls last night. Zoe was carrying around her doll and Ellie sweetly asked her, "Zoe, does your doll have Russell-Stover like you do?" (Zoe has Russell-Silver Syndrome. I think I may have Russell-Stover with my addiction to chocolate). lol!
